BIO
Vikki is an American born artist who makes paintings, drawings, prints, and installations about environmental systems and news or stories about them.

Vikki Michalios is an American visual artist who’s work deals with environmental systems using painting,  drawing, printmaking, and installation. She has exhibited at Art Fair 14C,  Monmouth Museum, Hunterdon Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Jersey City Museum, Portland Art  Museum, Blackburn 20/20, Center for Contemporary Arts, Contemporary Artists Center Woodside, AIR Gallery, Curious Matter, The Walsh  Gallery at Seton Hall University, and Denise Bibro. She has been published in The Star Ledger, New York Arts Magazine, and Steven  Zevitas, Studio Visit Magazine. Michalios was awarded residencies at Millay Colony of Art, CWOW ArtReach, and Chautauqua Institution. Vikki was a studio-resident at Gallery Aferro and a recent recipient of Emerge 11, the A Creative Capital fellowship at Aljira and recently completed a residency at MANA with the Eilieen S. Kamansky Family and Friends (ESKFF). Vikki will have a solo exhibit at solo show at The Art Project at The Oakland, curated by James Pustorino October – January 2022, a solo show at CoolVines ART WALL October 7 – January 3, 2022, participating in Art Fair 14C November 12-14, in the group show, “Return” curated by Donna Kessinger for NJCAST Sept 30 – Nov 1, and group show, “Renaissance, a revival” curated by Andrea McKenna of Arthouse Productions for NJCAST Sept 30 – Oct 23.
